What is Air Spading?

Air spading is a technique where Baker Tree Services uses a specialized machine called a Grow Gun to break up compacted soil. This innovative method involves inserting the Grow Gun into the soil and using compressed air to shoot small ceramic balls throughout the soil, effectively aerating and breaking up the hardened, compacted soil. This process creates channels allowing air, water, and nutrients to reach the tree’s roots once again.

If the soil around your trees has become compacted, the tree’s roots do not receive adequate nutrients, water, and oxygen from the earth, stunting growth and eventually killing the tree.
